Everything you need to know about Myth War 2 Online — races, leveling, skills, maps, pets, equipment, quests, combat, and more.

Getting Started

Welcome to the world of Myth War 2 Online — a classic turn-based MMORPG with deep character progression, pet collection, and epic guild battles.

Create Your Character

Choose from 4 races and 8 classes. Each combination has unique strengths — warriors tank, priestesses heal, sorcerers blast, and berserkers smash. Your race determines your starting town and available skills.

Learn to Fight

Combat is turn-based with a charge bar system. Complete the Newbie Questline to learn basics. Capture pets in battle to fight alongside you. Form teams with other players for dungeon runs.

Grow Stronger

Level up to 104 (or 124 after Reborn). Allocate stat points, upgrade equipment from +1 to +10, learn skills up to Tier IV, collect powerful pets, and join a guild to conquer endgame content.

Races & Classes

4 races, 8 unique classes. Each race has a male and female variant with distinct roles and playstyles.

Human

Woodlingor

Humans are versatile and resilient, excelling in physical combat and divine healing. They thrive in balanced party compositions.

Warrior
Melee DPS / Tank

Heavy armor, two-handed weapons, high HP. Excels at taking and dealing physical damage. Best for frontline combat.

Priestess
Healer / Support

Divine magic healer with protective barriers and resurrection. Essential for group survival in dungeons and boss fights.

Centaur

Desert City

Centaurs combine raw power with unmatched speed. Their mounted combat style makes them devastating in both melee and ranged encounters.

Guardian
Tank / AoE Melee

Massive HP pool with thundering charge attacks that damage multiple enemies. The premier tank class for group content.

Archer
Ranged DPS

Lightning-fast ranged attacks with elemental arrows. High critical rate and the ability to kite enemies makes her deadly in PvP.

Mage

Sky Passage

Mages wield devastating arcane power. Their spells can devastate entire groups of enemies, but they are fragile and rely on MP management.

Sorcerer
AoE Magic DPS

Master of fire, ice, and lightning. Unrivaled area-of-effect damage output. Best for clearing dungeons and large-scale fights.

Enchantress
Debuffer / Magic DPS

Illusions, curses, and life-drain magic. Can turn enemies against each other and weaken bosses significantly.

Borg

Flamingor

Stone-skinned and volcanic-born, Borgs are the most physically durable race. They combine raw melee power with spiritual shamanic magic.

Berserker
Melee DPS / Bruiser

Primal rage fuels devastating cleave attacks. Natural physical resistance from stone skin. Highest raw melee damage in the game.

Shaman
Buffer / Hybrid

Ancestral totems buff the entire party while curses weaken foes. Bridges physical and spiritual combat with unique versatility.

Leveling Guide

Understand how experience and leveling works to maximize your progression speed.

Normal EXP Formula

Below level 49: EXP needed = 3.4 × (level + 2)⁴
Level 49 and above: EXP needed = 4 × level⁴
Maximum level: 104

Reborn EXP Formula

All levels: EXP needed = 4.8 × level⁴
Maximum level: 124
Note: Reborn characters need ~20% more EXP per level but gain access to higher-tier content and stats.

Stat Points

Each level grants stat points to allocate across HP, MP, Attack, and Speed. After reborn, you receive 80 bonus unused stat points on top of your normal allocation. Plan your build carefully — respec is limited.

Growth Rates

Each stat has a growth rate that determines bonus stats per level-up. Growth rates are fixed at character creation based on your race and class. Higher growth = more powerful at high levels.

Talent Points

Earned through the Talent Point quest chain starting at level 30. Talent points provide permanent bonus stats beyond normal allocation. A critical source of endgame power.

Reborn System

Transcend mortal limits and be reborn as a legendary hero.

How Reborn Works

When you reach level 104 (the normal cap), you can complete the Reborn Quest from the Spirit Lord in Snow Ridge. Upon completion:

  • Your character transforms to a reborn appearance (class files Npc011a/b through Npc018a/b)
  • You receive 80 extra unused stat points
  • Level cap increases to 124
  • A reborn indicator (e.g., "1-") appears before your level text
  • Magical resist values carry forward with an additional reborn bonus
What Resets on Reborn

Be aware of what changes after rebirth:

  • Skills reset to starter Tier I skills only — Tier II/III/IV must be re-earned through quest progression
  • Learned skill ranks I and II are preserved but reset to level 1 with 0 exp
  • Your character appearance transforms to the reborn class model
  • EXP formula changes to the steeper reborn curve (4.8 × level⁴)
  • Equipment, pets, inventory, and gold are preserved
  • Quest progress for Tier-unlock quests resets — must complete them again

Skill System

Master skills through combat practice and quest unlocks to become a formidable force.

Tier I

Starter skills available at character creation. Basic but essential. These are the only skills available after Reborn until you re-earn higher tiers.

Tier II

Unlocked through the first Skill Unlock quest at ~level 20. More powerful versions of Tier I skills with additional effects.

Tier III

Unlocked through advanced skill quests at ~level 50. Significantly stronger skills that define your class role in parties.

Tier IV

The ultimate skill tier unlocked at ~level 80. Devastating power that separates casual players from true masters.

Skill Leveling

Skills gain experience (proficiency) each time you use them in combat. Higher skill levels increase damage, healing, duration, and reduce MP cost. Skills have a maximum level of 11.

Skill EXP thresholds increase sharply at higher levels — reaching skill level 10+ requires dedicated grinding.

Skill Types

Physical: Single-target melee attacks. High damage, no MP cost.
Magic (Single): Single-target spells. Strong damage, costs MP.
Magic (AoE): Multi-target spells. Lower per-target damage, high MP cost.
Buff/Debuff: Status effects — heal, shield, curse, silence. Essential for party play.
Passive: Always-active bonuses to stats or combat modifiers.

Skill EXP Table

Experience thresholds required for each skill level.

Skill Level EXP Required Difficulty
Level 1 0 Easy

Pet System

Capture, train, and fight alongside monster companions. Visit the Pet List for a complete database of all pets.

  • Capture Pets are captured during battle by using the Capture command when an enemy monster is at low HP. Lower HP = higher capture chance. Some rare pets can only be found in specific maps.
  • Stats Pets have HP, MP, Attack, and Speed stats that can be allocated using stat points earned on level-up. Growth rate determines how much each stat point is worth.
  • Growth Each pet has a hidden Growth Rate (visible in the pet status screen). Higher growth = more stats per point. Growth ranges from 0.5 (poor) to 3.0+ (legendary). The Growth button on the pet status UI shows detailed growth information.
  • Skills Pets can learn up to 8 skills. Skills are gained through battle experience or special skill books. The Skill button on the pet status UI shows all learned pet skills.
  • Loyalty Pet loyalty increases when you feed them, fight alongside them, and keep them healthy. High loyalty improves pet performance in battle. Low loyalty can cause pets to disobey commands.
  • Intimacy Intimacy is a deep bond stat that increases over long periods of companionship. High intimacy unlocks special pet abilities and improves their combat effectiveness.
  • Evolution Some pets can evolve into more powerful forms when they reach certain level thresholds. Evolved pets gain new skills and improved base stats.
  • Follow Active pets follow you on the map as a visible companion. You can have one pet following at a time. The pet appears next to your character as you walk around.
Pet Stats

Combat System

Deep turn-based combat with charge bars, elements, combos, and strategic positioning.

  • Turn Based Combat is turn-based with a charge bar system. Each unit has a charge speed that determines how quickly they can act. Faster units attack more often.
  • Actions Available actions: Physical Attack (single target), Magic Attack (single or multi-target), Defend, Use Item, Flee, and Switch Pet. Action choice is critical for survival.
  • Elements Four magical elements exist: Dark, Light, Water, and Fire. Each element has strengths and weaknesses. Use the right element against enemy weaknesses for bonus damage.
  • Status Status effects include: Virus (damage over time), Chaos (random actions), Stone (cannot act), Sleep (skip turns), and Weakness (reduced stats). Status resist values determine your protection.
  • Combo Some attacks can trigger combo hits (double attack, berserk). Berserk rate and berserk damage increase the chance and power of these bonus hits.
  • Protect Tank-type characters can protect weaker allies by intercepting attacks aimed at them. The protect chance is based on the protector's stats.
  • Feedback Magic and physical feedback reflect a portion of damage back to the attacker. Build feedback stats to punish aggressive enemies.
  • Flee Fleeing combat is not always guaranteed. Higher speed improves flee chance. Boss fights may prevent fleeing entirely.
Elemental System

Four magical elements affect combat damage:

  • Fire — Strong against nature-based enemies
  • Water — Strong against fire-based enemies
  • Light — Strong against undead and dark creatures
  • Dark — Strong against light-aligned foes

Build magical resist values (magic_dark, magic_light, magic_water, magic_fire) to reduce incoming elemental damage.

Status Resistances

Status effects and their resist stats:

  • Virus — Damage over time. Build virus resist.
  • Chaos — Random uncontrollable actions. Build chaos resist.
  • Stone — Completely unable to act. Build stone resist.
  • Sleep — Skip turns until attacked. Build sleep resist.
  • Weakness — Reduced stats temporarily. Build week resist.
  • Physical — Reduces all physical damage taken.

Leveling Tips by Level Range

Quick reference for the fastest way to level at each stage of the game.

Level 1 – 10

Complete the Newbie Questline from the Welcome Guide in Woodlingor. This gives massive EXP bonuses and starter equipment. Kill Green Capillas in Revive Arena between quests.

Level 10 – 20

Continue quests in Woodlingor and start exploring Tree of Life level 1. Capture your first pet here — even a basic pet doubles your combat power.

Level 20 – 35

Move to Tree of Life levels 2-3 or Sunset Plain. Start the Skill Unlock quest chain to get Tier II skills. Form your first team for dungeon runs.

Level 35 – 50

Demon Lairs and Sewers become your primary leveling zones. Equipment upgrades are critical now — visit the Weaponsmith and Blacksmith. Start the Soulstone quest chain.

Level 50 – 70

Burial dungeons and Cursed Abyss offer the best EXP. Team play is essential. Work on Tier III skill unlocks. Upgrade equipment to +5 or higher.

Level 70 – 90

Flame Ruins, Flamingor, and Devil's Gate. Only attempt with a full party. Invest in elemental resist gear. Continue the Soulstone chain for massive rewards.

Level 90 – 104

Snow Ridge and Snow Peak for the final push to max level. Ashes Pits and Evil Lairs for the bravest. Prepare for the Reborn quest by completing all prerequisite chains.

Level Reborn 1+

After reborn, you restart with transformed appearance and +80 bonus stats. Skills reset to Tier I — prioritize re-earning Tier II/III through quests. EXP curve is steeper (4.8x formula) but the level cap extends to 124.
